the thing is, in california we don't get ANY advertising for campaigns - just propositions/state/city laws.  they usually narrow the ads down into the states that count.  california is traditionally democratic so nobody is wasting any money throwing ads at us.  and, believe me i am grateful.

when we kicked gray davis out of office it was like you are experiencing now - ads LEFT and RIGHT for both, and a lot of mud being thrown between like 5 candidates and at times up to 10 (there were tons more on the ballet).  but that was an exciting time in our states history since we basically removed our governer for a new one :)  a much better one i might add - go arnold!</description>
