Half-Life developer Valve and publisher Vivendi Universal Games have finally settled their long-running dispute. As part of the settlement agreement, Vivendi will cease distribution of retail packaged versions of Valve’s games from 31 August, opening the way for Valve to sell its games exclusively via its Steam download service.

    so true. but i wonder if the hard copy will be worth money some day?

    I’m fine with it not being sold in stores, the only prob would be if #1 u dont have a credit card or #2 you have no internet.
    At which point i would ask you why your playing hl2.
