Here I am … the final “Big” Day of Quakecon ‘05. It’s been a good time thus far, I’ve played some games, drank a lot of Bawls and consumed a large amount of caffine in general. I’ve slept a lot more than I really wanted to at times, but I’ve had a lot of fun.
The Hotel here is beautiful, but that’s where the greatness about it stops. The customer service sucks ass. It takes over an hour to get extra towels to the room for showers, When requesting a callback for information from the front desk, they either take hours to call you back, or don’t call you back at all. I was trying to get a bellhop to help me take my stuff up to my room, I talked to the guy, he said he’d be right down, I waited 20 minutes and he never showed up.
So yeah, I wouldn’t come here for a vacation, but it’s pretty cool to be here during Quakecon
