Rosa Parks died last night at the age of 92.
I struggled coming up with a good topic for this post, as everything that popped in my head just didn’t seem fitting. Ms. Parks was a real hero, and all she did was refuse to move to the back of the bus. By refusing to move, she rallied thousands, and eventually hundreds of thousands of people to stand up for their rights as humans. No more would they be opressed just because their skin was a different color. No more would they be forced to ride in the back of the bus, sit in the corner of the movie theater, or sit in a certain section of the resaraunt.
By refusing to stand up, Rosa Parks helped start a revolution. to finally make all people equal. Rest in Peace, Rosa. You’ve earned it.
